Maintenance Crew member

To take responsibility for the onsite activities, efficiencies and delivery of sustainable safe outcomes for CMS and its clients. Assist the Director in driving projects from estimation to completion and becoming the go-to person anything to do with the projects at hand.

Reporting to the Managing Director you will strive to be an ambassador for CMS at every interaction, both internally and externally. Building strong relationships with all stakeholders is crucial.

This role is a full time position which requires shift work from Monday to Friday. Must be committed to approximately 60% night shifts and 40% day shifts.


Accountabilities:

  • Minor building maintenance
  • Concrete floor preparation with grinding and polishing of concrete
  • Concrete finishes including sealers and spray down systems
  • Industrial cleaning; pressure and steam cleaners
  • Small engine and machine cleaning, repairs & maintenance
  • Shift preparation, loading and selection of equipment
  • Minimising time wastage of crew during activities we cannot charge for
  • Compliance of safe working procedures and onsite reporting
  • Creation of processes and documentation to the Director
  • Driving of Medium rigid truck
  • Training of all new crew
  • Ongoing training to existing employees
  • Delegation to crew and sub contractors
  • Use of in house systems and Reporting


Key Essential Experience: 

  • BSA Trade finishes license
  • White card (Valid)
  • Trades ticket or any industry qualification
  • Drivers license (+ Own reliable car)
  • HR or MR truck license (experience driving)
  • EWP 11meters + License
  • Polishing and Grinding of concrete
  • Industrial coatings or concrete sealers
  • Industrial cleaning

Casual Office Assistant

To take responsibility for assisting in developing office systems and procedures and executing projects and initiatives that will support the short and long term growth of CMS.

To assist on all aspects of the administration and sales leads for the business. Always representing CMS in a professional manner whether face to face; telephone or responding to tenders.

To provide support to the Managing Director ensuring that all aspects of the business are operating at the highest level. This role is pivotal as it requires an understanding of many different components of the business, and ensures everyone is being supported at an administrative level.

Accountabilities:

  • Office organisation and enquiry management, respond to enquiries in a timely manner
  • Assistant sales support to the Director
  • Organise and respond to new leads
  • Daily tender profile development, research and response.
  • Representing CMS always in a professional manner when dealing with anyone external
  • Assist with any marketing initiatives as per Directors instructions
  • Accounting data entry into MYOB accounting package
  • Compliance and Management of staff and subcontractors
  • Become and expert in CMS business systems
  • Business system development and support as the business grows
  • Use of in house “Access” based management software
  • Assist with small business culture and staff development through training
  • Maintaining a clean and professional front of house facility
  • Daily tender profile development, research and response


Key Essential Experience: 

  • MYOB or accounting software
  • Administration systems & management
  • Microsoft systems
  • 140 words per min typing
  • Business Systems knowledge
  • CRM experience

Landscape Crew Member

Delivering a vast range of tasks including mowing, grounds maintenance, litter collection, mulching and brush cutting within our Horticulture teams.

Reporting to the crew supervisor you will strive to be an ambassador for CMS at every interaction, both internally and externally. Building strong relationships with all stakeholders is crucial.

We have roles on casual rotation androles for full time experienced personal on the Sunshine coast, Gold Coast and Brisbane.

  • Broad acre lawns
